Q: My character can teleport. Are they able to do that here as well?
A: They can still teleport, but not anywhere outside of Oasis Mall.

Q: How do I drop my character?
A: Go to the Drop A Character thread and fill out and post the form on the thread.

Q: What happens once a character is dropped?
A: The character will die on the forum.

Q: If my character dies, what happens?
A: Unless stated otherwise, The character's body will disappear overnight. All of the characters will forgot what they look like and what their name is, but will remember things that happened with them. There will be times when the producers will bring a character back to life.

A: Can I bring back a character of if I kill them?
B: It is strongly discouraged, but should treated the same way as the rules describes resetting a character. 

A: Can I play a character that had been dropped recently or otherwise?
B: Yes. As soon as a character is dropped, anyone can apply to play them.

A: Can the item that my character gets from their world be an animal?
B: As long as the animal doesn't have an overly defined personality, yes. I would recommend asking about it first if you are not sure if the animal you have fits this.

A: When should my character be pulled from? There is nothing in the app for this.
B: All characters are pulled from the last point where they are alive as of when the app is posted. 

A: The fandom that my character is from is still going. What happens if my character gains new powers?
B: If your character had this power at the time of the app and just didn't know how to use it, they can still learn how to use it in Agoraphobia.

A: How does my character get a job at a shop?
B: Your character just needs to ask the character that owns the shop is they will hire them. There is no application to work at a shop, only to own one.

Please note that each reservation will last seven days from when it was made.
Any reservations for characters that are already taken will be thrown out.

To join the site, start by reading the Site Rules.

If you agree with the rules, then make a player [Out of Character] account and post in the Introductions board. Make sure to say a bit about yourself.

You must do this in order to post character reservations.


To join in as a character, start by looking at the Character List to see who has already been taken and then making a reservation for said character on the Character Reservation thread, then create a side account on your player account. Instructions on how to do this can be found at this location.

Now that your reservation has been made, you have a week to submit a character application.

The application form can be found here and should be posted, using the account for the character being applied for, to the Work In Progress board until it is ready for review, then make a post saying that you have finished the application.

Once the character application is accepted, the application moderator will reply saying so and also with any power dampening that needs to be done to the character, what the item they will be given will be, what the number of their apartment is, and, if applicable, what 1980's technology the objects in their pockets will be turned into.

All characters will start in the Oasis Mall Center Court with a key in their pockets. All items that were in their pockets will be in their apartments on top of their desks.



All characters in the roleplay can have a business in Oasis Mall. While everyone is encouraged to do so, one can also opt out of it and have their character just get a job at a store.

In order to have your character start a business, post a thread with the Store Submissions Form to the Store Submissions board.
