AgoraphobiaRP is a Panfandom roleplay.
Agoraphobia is a reality TV show that is set on an island. The Island is isolated and encased in an impenetrable glass dome. The ground, after six miles, is set in a super hard bedrock layer. Any teleportation equipment and skills can only go to places on the island. There is no escape.
The island contains the usual topography: lakes, rivers, forests, and a beach. Most of these features are found within a large shopping mall, know as the Oasis Mall. The mall itself is the main backdrop for the show, as is it where cast members live and work. There are tiny undetectable cameras in the air that capture all movement.
Cast members are created from a machine that uses special stardust to mold into characters from all over the multiverse. Because they are created, death is no factor in making decisions on cast members. When they are created, they are given a key to an assigned apartment in the pocket and in each apartment is the key to a store front [which can be turned down, making it appear in another locked apartment.] and one item from their home, that has turned into it's 1980's equivalent. The machine can cut off and suppress powers to keep a character from being too powerful.
The mall is based on 1980's Earth, so all technology is downgraded automatically to fit the theme.
The producers of the show will run special events, which are announced out of earshot of the cast members by the show's host Barbra, to mix things up on the show. The goal of the show is to survive and form a society.
