Birthday: June 24, 1960
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Canonical Job: Con man, "psychic investigator", architect
Personality: Frank is a mess. It's obvious that his wife's passing took a toll on him. He is a selfish man who doesn't always think about what his actions and words do to other people. There seems to be a part of him somewhere that may care about others, but he tends to only show this side of him with people he lets himself care about. He is willing to defend and protect the ones that are lucky enough to be someone with that honor, even if it means doing harm, personal or physical, to himself. He has a more sentimental side as well, but it's a part of himself he doesn't admit to.
While he has a sense of right and wrong, he's lost track of his moral code and this, combined with his brash nature, makes him kind come across as a total jerk. He's not above lying to reach his goals, but knows when to tell the truth. He can be very reckless, rushing into situations without thinking about minor things like property damage.
He is distrusting and sarcastic to most other people, and this sometimes includes friends. He has a very dark sense of humour, but he never laughs or even smiles. If he truly cares about a person, he will push them away if he perceives that either he or the other party is in danger.

Powers: Thanks to an car accident five years prior, Frank gained the ability to commune with earthbound spirits. He was able to see them, as well as see visions of the past from emotionally charged spots. He could also touch them, to a degree. It was an ability he has put some research behind understanding and he tended to mostly use it for financial gain. Wrapped into this ability was the ability to see the energy traces a ghost may use to mark a target. This kind of vision was manifested as if it's physically on the target of the ghost.

History: Frank had gotten into a car accident with his wife Debra as the passenger. She had died and he was found sometime afterward, wandering in the woods where they had crashed with no memory of what happened to him. For a time, he was suspected of murdering her, since the two had been seen arguing prior to the accident and Frank was missing a knife in a tool box he kept in the car because of his job as an architect and his project to create a home for himself and Debra to live. This accident changed him and granted him the ability to see ghosts, which he uses to scam people as a psychic investigator and gain money to continue building the house, which he is no closer to doing after five years passed.
While driving back from a funeral for potential marks, he met a married couple, Ray and Lucy Lynskey, who he ended up choosing as marks because Ray threatened to sue him for damages from plowing though the man's fence. He had two of his three ghost companions, a nerd from the 50's named Stuart and a man from the 70's name Cyrus, haunt the couple for the sake of his scam, but saw a number carved on Ray's forehead before he left the home. One day later, Frank encountered Ray's ghost and eventually offered to meet Lucy to play the spirit medium and help Ray communicate with Lucy. During this session, another victim was taken. Frank witnessed the death: a specter of what appears to be the Grim Reaper grabbed at the victim's chest and crushed the heart.
One more victim was taken before Frank was taken to jail as a suspect for a killing streak that began with his wife. While in jail, he discovered that Lucy was going to be the next victim of the ghost. He has grown attached to Lucy and wanted to end the slaughter, so he came to the conclusion that he needed to become a ghost to fight. Lucy convinced him that the way to do this was to induce hypothermia and promised to revive him later. He did end up taking down the killer and solving the mystery in the end.
