Original Character (Homestuck based)
Nickname(s)/ Alias: Vigilante, Vig, V
Birthday: 1st October about 150-170 years ago (exact year impossible to translate)
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Species: Troll (Alternian alien)
Gender: Male
Species: Troll (Alternian alien)
Canonical Job: Knightshade, the troll version of a knight (but more like a glorified servant/bodyguard/hitman)
Personality: Extremely polite to the point of never cursing. And obsessed with the task he was trained for of capturing criminals and handing them over to others for judgement. Experience on Alternia and the dangers of his task makes him always on edge in some way, as if something could spring out at him at any second, which is why he nearly never removes his armour. And makes him very hard to sneak up on. Extremely protective of those close to him such as Cloak, his lusus, and will go against instruction to help or save them from harm. If he hears that someone has performed illegal activity then he will be wary of them but not outright aggressive towards them. But if he has evidence or witnesses them doing something illegal he will confront them. And is not afraid to start or finish a fight to make them stop. If he witnesses a fight he won’t immediately step in unless he feels it’s needed that he does so. I.e. It was started for no good reason or would only escalate to levels that endanger others in the room if it isn’t stopped. But his idea of breaking up a fight tends to be get the victim out of the way to safety and then finish the fight himself. Even if he’s against someone that he has no hope of being able to beat or escape from. Can seem emotionally blank sometimes but is mostly cheerful and upbeat. Is hyperaware of his position on the spectrum of troll blood colours and uses neutral terms to refer the blood of others rather than seeming to have a preference to either highbloods or lowbloods. Raises his voice about as often as he curses. Also has a habit of referring to others as ‘sir’, ‘my lady’, and in the case of highblooded trolls ‘your highness’.

Powers: Tealblood troll knight stuff
Weaknesses: Extreme/tropical heat, being a teal blood gives him a body temperature far lower than that of a human, great for when colder weather but terrible in warmer weather, gives him a high risk of heat stroke and other overheating related ailments. Language barrier, generally confused by human names for things, holidays, concepts and phrases, and also can't read human languages. Too easily ordered around for his own good, can be a pushover and will do nearly anything that is asked of him, within reason, especially if they have a dominating personality which would also cause him to fear them. Doesn’t know when to stop…, which leads to him ending up getting quite a bit of unnecessary harm that he could have easily avoided. 'Blind as a bat',
despite being a member of a nocturnal species his night vision is terrible, only slightly better and actually possibly worse than that of a human. Nocturnal,
staying awake during the daylight hours is not going to be easy...although there is a chance he'll adapt eventually.

Strengths: Tealblood ability to survive extreme injury. Only a fatal wound will kill him quickly, such as being cut in half, beheaded, neck snapped, strangled, stab wound through major organs such as the heart, and other instantly fatal injuries. Other injuries will only slow him down and he can see to them later. Slow death injuries that are not fast are still not survivable, for example, if beaten in a fight to the point of many broken bones and massive internal bleeding he could still be as mobile as normal, but unable to fight further and with much less strength and co-ordination, for ten to fifteen or even twenty minutes before actually dying. Naturally resistant to disease and illness, because of his species, trolls are have a very good immune system. Much stronger than he looks from carrying around his armour, his sword and Cloak, 24/7. Meaning he could easily lift the average human or a couch, or hold back/slow the progress of heavy moving objects. High speed and agility, again due to his higher than normal strength, otherwise he wouldn’t be able to do this in his armour. Has learned the skill of being able to hang upside for whole days and nights at a time from any surface, slightly better night vision than a human, and echolocation. Picked these up from being raised by Cloak who is a bat. Vast knowledge of law and investigation, from the training he received for his task on Alternia, he knows how to handle a crime scene or other criminal investigation or search. Very effective sword and hand to hand combat fighter, from the training he received on Alternia and from bringing in Alternian criminals, none of them come quietly.
History: Vig is from the period of time after the death of the Signless/Sufferer and before the death of Redglare. On Alternia he lived close to the sea having a hive in cave in a set of cliffs, Cloak’s preferred habitat, but did not remain there for long. At a very young age he and Cloak were taken by a seadweller that wanted a new Knightshade, and trained in all the skills they would need. He quickly gained a ‘healthy respect’, fear, for what would happen if he angered or acted incorrectly around higherbloods due to treatment by his master. Which given his lower place in the spectrum compared to his master, and the general Alternian attitudes of what to do with those lower, was far from pleasant. Despite it being normal to him it was essentially a form of slavery. Hence his politeness and inability to say no. The only time he was allowed to leave his master’s hive was to catch ‘criminals’, or anyone the seadweller told him to go after, and deliver them and any evidence he had gathered to the Legislacerators. So he knows very little about his own world or casual interaction with others and became obsessed with justice as when performing it was the only time he was allowed any freedom. Right before the mall he was walking the corridors of the seadwellers hive to receive further orders.
Items in Pocket: His large broadsword, that requires two hands to wield and has a teal tinted blade with a handguard decorative to resemble Cloak's white wings (if having it in it's sheath on his back counts as being in his pocket). An extremely basic first aid kit containing only a cleaning cloth, needle and thread, and bandages.
Item Taken From Home: Cloak, a giant white bat just as tall he is (5 foot 8 inches with another 6 inches for his horns) that spends most of his time clinging to Vig's back to the point he resembles the item of clothing he's named after.
